So I went to lock up my work bike yesterday and noticed that the brake pad and bit that holds it were missing completely. They're crappy old cantilevers with plastic arms, so might be better just to buy a new set, but as im about to retire the bike i'd rather just buy a pad and the bit that holds it to the arm, but I don't know the name of it

Might be best buying a new brake if there are bits missing, could try these http://www.wiggle.co.uk/tektro-cr520-cantis-1pc-cyclocross-cantilever-brakeset/

Finally got piccys onto pc

I'd ideally just like to replace the bolts if possible since the bike is generally crap, plastic arms, plastic levers etc. Thanks for the link though, might not be a bad option

In the old days I would have suggested getting down to the local tip and salvaging a few spares at the same time but if your tip is anything like ours has become it is all sanitised with barriers and security gorillas to stop you removing anything. There must be dozens of CC'rs that have old canti arms like those, just sat at the bottom of the spares box, crumbs I reckon I have probably binned some at some point in the past. The bits you are missing are standard parts.

I have some metal Shimano cantis you can have for nowt. Can't remember if they have any brake blocks. If you want them PM me but just about to go off on my jollies so will be a couple of weeks before I can send them.
