whats the nearest beach to brum lol

I know it prob sounds a strange question but what is the nearest beach to birmingham



i am thinking of doing my first 100+ and thought it would be a satisfying end to the ride to reach the coast



have googled it but to no avail with a definative answer so i thought i would ask here as i am always astounded at the tools and tricks people use to find routes and distances

Prestatyn, Clevedon (near West Super Mare) and the southwest corner of The Wash are all about 102 miles from the centre of Birmingham.

Always was Rhyl when I lived in W-ton, unless they've moved it? No need to stop there as there's a cycle path to Colwyn Bay, which is a nicer destination, or continue to LLandudno which is even better still. Quick climb up the Great Orme......

What about Flint in N Wales. RAC says its 85.05 miles and its off the motorways. Not quite your 100 miles but I guess you have to come back again.

My Ex-wife lives not 20 miles from Brum' and she's a right...

Its got to be Barmouth and the stretch of coast leading to Harlech. There is some beautiful quiet sandy beaches along that stretch and is about 2.5 hours from Birmingham
