What would you rate this years tour out of 10

I would give it 7 out of10.

Enjoyed it as usual but not a classic.

Thought the route and the special touches for the 100th were good. First few stages were full of drama and the emergence of a few new riders to watch for the future like Quintana and Kittel etc was good.

GC battle was never really in doubt after Froome took yellow and delighted Contador never made the podium.

I would go higher than that, a few real drama moments so it's an 8

For me it's a 5, it lacked much if anything to get excited about, after the first week it didn't even seem necessary to watch the highlights, a few impressive and hopeful moments but all hope soon faded.

I thought it was pretty good Froome and Sky deserve it...its obvious now Froome could easily have won it last year...He was awesome on Ventoux and left Contador eating dust...whats not to like?

Well, first of all there's a massive thread already devoted to the Tour, where we've been discussing it in detail for the last four weeks. And secondly, reducing it to a marks out of 10 is inane. I know you're new here and seem to be trying to start as many threads as possible...

I'd give it 9.5 just for the course alone, without even considering the racing. I think it's been amazing.

I give this thread 5/10. It lacks any substantial talking points that you can really get your teeth into, and as FM points out, simply takes the subject of another much more interesting thread and reduces it to marks out of ten, which I normally consider the realm of tabloid foopball reporting. However, I admire the tireless enthusiasm of the OP for starting new threads, there have been a few amusing posts in it, and at least it doesn't mention d*ping.

If I was rating the countryside views, then yes, it's a 9. But I would have loved to have been more on the edge of my seat and be a whole lot less certain about the eventual outcome.

Exactly. Hard to know what people want, isn't it? Well designed route, competitive racing, a leader in difficulty at times, some class team work from several teams, good sprinters stages.
To reduce 3 weeks of 6000-8000 kcals of effort a day to marks out of 10 - nonsense.
1/10 for even thinking about starting this thread, must try harder
