Yikes, the fact it looks corroded solid may be the first problem.

If that a nut holding the crank on, or is just a non square taper end.
If the former a regular socket should do the trick after a bit of plus gas or Gt85. If latter does a regular crank puller fit the threads?

You need a crank tool and a spanner - cranktools normally have a socket to get the nut / bolt out, then a puller to get the crank off.
I'd personally drench the whole lot in WD40 or some such for a while first though. That all looks a bit stuck!

As above, loosen first, if you strip the thread on the crank then it becomes even more of an issue

It can be done with specialist equipment, but it is easier not to go there

'tis 14mm socket by the way. Give it an overnight soak with some Plusgas first.

Put some grease on the thread once you've got the nut out and when you come to screw it in, so it a couple of times to check that the thread isn't blocked and preventing it from going all the way in. Stripping the thread is a nightmare! !
