I got some silk glove liners from decathlon last year. Kept my hands quite comfortable even on the coldest days.

Though I'm not a commuter and I only go out once it has warmed up a little, And never when it's freezing.

Had a quick look on the site. The silver maternity briefs looking interesting and would keep wee belly warm:heat:

Recommendations for socks or other ideas to keep the toes warm but be highly appreciated, they seem to get cold first and stay cold

Well as the title says? How to keep warm and dry in the winter?
Check out Aldi's specials for next Thursday

Ride faster. It keeps you warm.

Footwise, tape any vents up on your shoes. Sandwich bags over the top of your socks and get good overshoes.

Layers are your friend in the cold. Zipvit have got a 25% off sale at the moment, and they are cheap in the first place. Their kit is manufactured in Italy and it is very high quality, incredible for the price. I bought bib shorts and a top in May, and have just this evening bought a long sleeve jersey from them today which i will use over a base layer or under a gilet.

Gloves are important, i wear a pair of glove liners, main gloves and sometimes fleece over gloves. It is important to keep your hands warm!

Overshoes are also important, keep your extremities warm and you will thank yourself. I use BBB neoprene overshoes which are pretty good down to about -6c.

Lastly keep your head warm, a buff is pretty good down to about -2/-4c, after that I tend to use a fleecy headband under the helmet.

Tell me about it. Below freezing this morning and didn't actually enjoy my ride for once. Fingers and toes got seriously cold and numb and even my knees felt quite cold.

Once I got into the house my fingers got quite sore until they eventually warmed up again.

Have silk liner gloves on order which I hope might help.

Definitely get leg / knee warmers and a good pair of gloves and something to keep your head warm (profile piccie suggests there is no mop of hair to do this)
