what to spend my vouchers on...?

Hey guys,

Been away a while, but still cycling (yay!). Anyways, happy birthday me for last week, and my awesome little sis and bro got me 45 squids worth of wiggle vouchers.

So, bearing in mind winter is looming, what would you say my ultimate purchases should be...? Am currently thinking a good strong front light, and/ or perhaps a hi-viz jacket. Basically looking for advice on what is good value, and well regarded, and what I might be able to get cheaper elsewhere!

Ah no, I meant more of a wind/ rainproof jacket that also happened to be fluro yellow and reflective. Although may just pick up a regular one of those elsewhere and the hi viz tabard like u say from a hardware store nearby!

Deepends on what you already have and what you need. If like me you're an urban cyclist who needs a light in order to be seen rather than to see, I wouldn't spend money there. Get a £5 flasher off ebay. Have you got a track pump? Have you got proper chain lube? Hi-viz is good, but I'd personally go for a Sam Browne rather than a jacket. Almost as visible on the road, much easier to store away off it. Tyres with kevlar?
