Got myself a gaint TCR frame an fork hangin arround well at the lbs havin its bb retapped (best not to ask), but should I respray it or get it painted pro stylee, not aure what to do with it was going to build it up to use on the turbo in the garage??

Sorry not at the moment its at the shop, size medium 52cm stripped to bare metal. They sure are a small frame

a classy respray might be nice as it will be more unusual but this really is aesthetically down to what you prefer surely?

Yes I was thinking the same, but a classy respray may be £$£ and lead to a £$£ classy build lol, it may just get a lick of paint as i was going to use it just on the turbo and mab the odd mad hack or to

If it's hack bike...well keep it minimal, I'd leave it as it is personally as for me a hackbike is minimal investment...oddly my minimal investment commuter is also a Giant SCR of the same size!

I may just scrap it and build a chinese carbon instead work out the same as a top paint job I bet hehe

Why spend any £'s if you're just going to whack it on your turbo?

Then again, I'm murder when it comes to refurbing bikes. Every one starts out as a budget winter/training/hack build, and generally ends up as a money no object, 'Oooo that's nice must have it' kind of build

if its for turbo use then why paint , no body going to see you riding it and so what if they do

I can polish it as I ride the turbo to pass the time lol, yep budgets are blown in the blink of an eye> Got myself a rack a few weeks ago for the hack and spent a bit of money i wanted to save, then thought best fix up the front brake as one magura on the back in the wet is not to cool. Ended up spending again to get a XT front caliper and a nice XTR 180mm Ice tec rotor she is settling into her new home well

No the disc is on the front of my work hack (see show your winter bike posts) not the TCR, but that could be a good idea get a disc mount welded to the back of the frame
