Yes I can, Yes I am, Yes I did...Repeat.
I'll kick off:

House the rising sun (animals)
I always played this tune on th ejukebox in the Naffi when I was in the army cadets (toysoldiers)...firs tbeers, first cigarettes..knackered, tired after the assault courses etc...happy daze.

School (Supertramp)
Always had this on at skool, blasting out, lot's of happy (and some not so) memories

Children of the Revolution (T Rex)
Playing football in my first skool, 50 a side no rules version in the hot summer dust

Catch the Rainbow (Rainbow)
Believe it or not this reminds me of my childhood Christmases

Whole Lotta Love (led Zep)
Just about everything..it was always in my head

..there are so many more I could list but they'll do to start.

Walk Like A Man by The Four Seasons - takes me back to the first time I went to see HMS Victory at Portsmouth. It was playing when we were waiting our turn...can't remember where -a cafe or something. About 1963-4 I reckon...
Brass plate on the deck, all the surgeon's equipment laid out...bit like a carpenter's workbench!

Hocus Pocus by Focus I used to spend every night drawing and painting - this was always on my record player. When I got to art school I cooly switched to James Brown - Get Up Offa That Thing...etc (many blank areas revolve around this 'disco' period  ) and official musical tastes switched to Grover Washington (Mister Magic) and Eric Gale (Multiplication)...with a bit of John Cage and Krysztof? Pendereski (College had a sound room with a synthesiser - :becool:)

All this gave me tin ears.

Edit: Mungo Jerry - In The Summertime - the start of my adventures in cricket, with King Short Shirt's 'Tourist Leggo' reminding me of good times playing in the West Indies
