What size screws?

Hi all, i was recently trying to change the cables on my hybrid and managed to round the heads of a couple of the tiny screws holding the cover plate onto the shifter (shimano upper cover). Managed to get them out, but now the screws are useless. Anyone got any idea what size these are? Been looking at model screws, but there's quite a lot of different sizes. Thanks for any help.

Can't help you with the size as don't know the shifter (but bound to be metric) - but when you have an idea try modelfixings.co.uk. It's the go-to source for small fixings in a huge range of sizes for the model aircraft fraternity. You can buy in small quantities so if you are not quite sure of the size you can buy a few different sizes to be sure you get the right one - for only a few quid.

Obviously it depends on the model but most hybrids use brifters similar to this and if so they are M3x5

Yep it was an m3x5, managed to find a matching sized screw from an old computer case. Thanks all
