What size screws do shimano use on front derailures?

Hello,

Very basic and stupid Q, what size screws do shimano use for the front derailure? they seem to be m3 x8 - 10mm? Just want to check before i buy some.

Mine are m4 x 13 but I'm not sure whether they all use the same size.

You need to know which groupset you have. Then you can look it up here.

Bear in mind that derailleur adjustment screws aren't always a plain screw. Some of the Shimano screws I've seen were profiled/chamfered at the end so that there is no thread for about the last 1mm or so. This means that the thread can't get damaged where it touches the stops on the derailleur. If the thread gets damaged it might not unscrew easily, or could damage the threads in the derailleur body on the way out.

Ok, I'm thinking it'll be best to pop into the lbs to get the screws oppose to finding them in my collection.
