I'm already looking at what bike to go for next year. I'm after a road bike comfortable for sportives and touring but still fairly quick. I think I want to spend up to about £700...any recommendations?

Second hand genesis equilibrium or find some more money and get a new one

Quick is down as much to you as the bike...and subjective

Are you looking more for a tourer or for sportives

Do those take full length mudguards for both uses and pannier rack for tours.

Something that is suitable for both...the pinnacle takes mudguards and a rack if needed too

Go try a few out. 2017 models might be reduced in the new year but in shorter supply

I’d go for steel for touring

Would i be better reverting to my original idea of getting a steel tourer?

Please yourself couple of ti bikes for sale on fleabay
For £700? Old ones maybe? Links?

For £700 I’d get a new/lghtly used Genesis Eq

I’ll probably get Ti next year to go with mine. Expect it to cost much more than £700 though
