What pump?

I know this topic has been done to death, however I am looking for inspiration:

I have tried a few various pumps, I have a Lezyne micro floor pump currently, I had it fitted to a bottle cage mount but it looks plain ugly, its too large to fit under the tail pack, it sticks out and bangs about a bit. It does do what its designed for though very well.

I think I want to find the impossible, a smaller pump that works as well as the Lezyne above, that doesn't need to be fitted to the frame and can either fit under or in a tailback or jersey pocket.

This is probably why I am considering taking the plunge on some tubeless tyres, having just ordered some Hutchinson Intensives I just need to find some reasonably priced valves, rim tape and sealant. It's just quite a leap of faith to take that route, which is probably why I'm delaying getting the rest of the bits.

I use a Topeak Pocket Rocket on my road bikes. It's fairly compact and not too ugly and can either be attached under a bottle cage using the bracket that is provided, or is small enough to go in a back pocket. It can get my tyres back up to about 90psi without me having a coronary!

+1 to the pocket rocket, its a great little pump.

I saw a small Topeak one in Halfords the other day that integrated a red light that you can mount on the seatpost and use as (backup) lighting when on the move.

For total compactness you're probably going to have to consider co2 cannisters, I'm sure someone that uses them will be along soon.

Lezyne is my recommendation: easy to fit in a rear jacket/shirt pocket. this is the Lezyne Pressure Drive.

I have a Topeak Race Rocket and had the mis-fortune to use it in anger one evening last week. The side mount bracket fits under any cage and installed, looks exactly like the Lezyne above.

I was able to get about 90psi into the tyre which was more than good enough to continue the ride. It's cheap too.

CO2? Works for me.

I use a lezyne micro drive. But I have come around to the idea of some sort of co2 and pump in one is probably a better idea especially in winter. Toppeak also do something similar.
