What psi in the rain

Hello guys I'm doing a cycle event tomorrow and seen it's going to be heavy rain. The rain doesn't bother me but unsure what psi to run my tyres. Any advice will be appreciated

Your usual PSI you run them at (assuming it's between the min/max as stated on the tyre) will be fine.

You get better grip in the wet at reduced pressure. I go 80 front, 90 back in wet weather races. Wet crits at 120 psi would be quite sketchy. Wet sportive at 120 psi will probably be fine.

You are more likely to get punctures in the rain if your tyres are underinflated, I believe.

I'd personally drop the psi a bit but you have to way up the p'ture risk, fortunately for me its quite low and I find the extra grip good. Overall I tend not to be too bothered about psi, pumping to around 95/105psi and only topping up once a week or less often if its icy.​
