What is this little nodule on my seat stay for?

I think someone asked this recently and the answer may have been to loop the chain on when you remove the wheel. Hope I remembered that correctly.

No. Don't worry about it.

Maybe, but I have had bikes with and without and prefer to use them for convenience as once they are set up you just bung the wheel back, simples. What's more, you don't get people like me asking where your ' Rear Dropout Frame Adjusters ' are .
