Ah okay, there is a similar flat bracket of the same length that maybe works as a pair, so wrapping around a small tube makes sense. Possibly for a mudguard on a bike that has no rear mudguard bracket, I've vaguely read about adapters like that. I've bought N+1 mudguards over the years so could have come with one of those.How wide‘s the curly bit? Would it be half of a clamp fitting that might wrap around a seat stay to attach something?
