I've been using off road bikehut kevler tyres for the last two winters and I'd like to get new tyres for next winter. My slick tyres wont do in winter..... hard to get much grip on sandy surface.

So, here are my priorities in order:

Low Weight
Puncture resistance
good grip
Low rolling resistance
Low price.

This tyre seems to fit the criteria but you might now of a better alternative.

You'd be better off having a spare set of tyres .. one for winter and one for summer

you'l struggle to fill your criteria with a set of £14 tyres

I do have a set for winter and a set for summer. I'm trying to replace the set for off road really as I hardly ever ride off rode. However, in the winter, the promenade (where I do most of the winter riding) is full of sand and I find that summer tyres (slick tyres) just don't cut it and the winter set ( off road) are perhaps a bit too much..... something lighter and with some grip for the sand and some good puncture protection of course ^_^...... there are so many tyres around that I'm sure there is something out there that fits my needs.

Halfords do Continental Rubber Queens for silly money, and their 3 for 2 offer is running, at the moment, so some serious savings to be made.
It may be a bit high volume, as it has high sidewalls, but their Mountain Kings would also suit your purpose at about a quid more. Reserve and collect.
