Hi all, recently bought a cheap 2010/11 Specialized Allez with a cracked frame. I'd like to transfer the bits onto another frame and sort of half wondered if this could be a good way into a better and cheap, lightweight bike.
The mercenary in me says it probably won't be kept long so something that would see me a nice return or profit would be ideal!!!!
Obviously I'd like another frame that I can swap as much (if not all) of the Allez's bits on to to save money, so would be very grateful of any suggestions. Budget perhaps up to £150-£200 so I know I won't get the latest carbon frame superbike, but something modern and light would be fab.
Graham Weigh some quite cheap frames and they're local, but I don't really know anything about them or if their frames are suitable for what I have. The Allez is Tiagra equipped by the way.
Many thanks in a advance.
