Hello all
I have bike that my father used to ride. It's been hanging in the shed for 50+ years. I can find no serial numbers or markings of any kind on the frame sprocket or anywhere else. Maybe it can be identified by the frame. I would like to move this bike along to someone that would appreciated it. I would like to know the manufacturer and if it has any value.

Track bike, no evidence of any brakes being fitted. Check the underside of the bottom bracket for a number. Also the tops of the seat stays and the rear dropouts.

The handlebars definitely point towards track bike as well. If there is no serial number on the bottom of the bike then I'd expect that this was custom made for your Father by a local bike shop. My understanding is that this was fairly common, particularly when this was likely to have been made.

Looks like a lovely bike though - definitely in want of some TLC to restore it a bit although I'd want to keep the patina a bit.
