I re-felted my shed roof!

Also tidied the shed and got drunk and fell asleep at 9pm which is probably why I was wide awake at 4am.

Did anyone else do anything distinctly unchristmassy?

Got up at 05:15 and pottered about with toffee and coast. Woke up.
Sorted out the garden and replanted 4 lavender bushes which I had hoofed out of the front garden when renewing the water main...
Sorted out a heap of crap er rubble and bagged up for the dump.
Went out the back and cleaned the pond filter.
Then took the pump apart and gave it a spring clean. (Well, I cleaned all the bits actually - not just the springs:tongue:).
Tidied up the shed and, funnily enough, wondered about re-felting it as the original stuff is letting by a bit of weather. Everyone should be forced to do their shed roofs at Christmas time - we could all make our presents felt.
Retired to hotel Chivascragganmore for the afternoon.

nothing really just slobbed in front of the PC and TV in the kitchen all day and night. Did some laundry tidied up , washed the car .
Funnily enough I have the refelt the shed roof high on my priorities for this xmas break.
It would be good to get my lovely old mower and strimmer under cover .
I think I've got a squirl nest in there though

You might find this useful then, unless you really like squirrels. ;)

It is a bit cold to put felt on the roof. The felt will be too cold to be bendy and also it will wrinkle up when it expands in the summer. Try and leave it until you get a warmer day.

If not cut the lengths to size and bring them indoors overnight to warm up a bit and then take the bit one at a time outside and nail them in place before they cool down too much.
