apart from a new bike. Mrs BG has just asked me for a list of inexpensive bits and I'm having trouble! This suggests that I spend all my spare cash on bikey bits........ which is probably true:blush:
So far Johns Franklins Skilled Cycling Techniques
The Long Distance Cyclist - Simon Doughty
Book on Wheelbuilding - not sure which one
Spoke Tension gauge
Those little emergency LEDs
Ermmmm....
This is clearly nowhere near enough to fill my sack:biggrin:

+ bottom bracket taps

Bottom bracket taps - not inexpensive, but if you get some, can I borrow them?

Serious medical kit. Betadine. Large non-sticky patches (don't know proper name but they are glossy on one side) thread and needle for sewing up wounds, strong pain-killers (GP should be able to help with this).

You keep beer in your bottom bracket?

I'm being asked if there's anything I'd like, and so far I've come up with a new tin opener, and a photograph album, neither of which are bike related, and I can't think of anything in that line I need or want - well, anything less than a Brompton, say, or an ICE B1.

Those little backup LEDs are very good. I have a couple of pairs.

Bib longs are good, just started using them ( apart from the obvious drawback)
Not sure I could fit all that stuff in my pillowcase Davyo but I agree the sentiment

..actually can I add one of those fit blondes in a mini skirt some bikes come with..I need one of those.

Unless you can demonstrate a practical cycling application then fit blondes are excluded. Wont fit in my pillowcase anyway....
