I paid £10 for it, doesn't mean it's worth it. I can get a can of colour matched spray paint made up for no more than £10 so that's a good idea thanks. I'm looking to tidy it up, give it a service and sell it on.I think the only way you’ll find a match is to take maybe the chain guard to a paint specialist who has a spectrometer. Might be pricey for a ten quid bike.
Those are both shades of brown, this is a lilac/violet sort of colour.Humbrol 98 with a gloss varnish, or 10 gloss.
That's exactly what it is. It's such a shame that no one out there seems to list the colours and has them available to order. Looks like when the paint counters are open again I'll be taking the chain guard down to get it matched.Bike looks like a Chiltern so will be a metallic lilac colour. Mauve was a bit darker.
