What colour bar tape would work best on titanium frame with a raw carbon rear triangle?

I'm planning to surprise a mate with some new bar tape, theirs is trashed. Only thing is I've no idea what colour would go better with the titanium and carbon frame. Red, or black?

I always think brown tape looks swish on a ti frame
