what bits of a bike just wont fit and are extremely annoying?

for me it must be an old bike i bought and have bought 4 yes 4 seat posts and still not bought the right width all are either to thin or thick.

then theres the other extreme where i had an old folding raleigh/montaque with 26 inch wheels when i tried on a pair of 700 wheels hey they fitted turned an old 26 inch wheel mtb into a 29 wheel so easy?

Old Raleigh MTBs are great bikes but you try swapping the stem or headset on em.

true dat ! Still true when refitting the same mudguards after taking them off to do a job. Bah !

I made such a bad job fitting mine. Had to chop off the bit front of the front brake to allow the wheel to turn. And then I thought I'd like to fit a 28mm tyre. Ha ha ha.
