What are rear stay bushes?

My creak happens pretty much all the time, though it's more noticeable when laying down he power. It actually sounds like the chain, but I know it's not the chain as it's cleaned and lubed weekly - checked for stiff links too. Also, creak happens when freewheeling over bumpy/uneven ground which makes me think flex in the frame (aluminium).

I did a search in Knowhow and found this post which sounds like my problem. Question is what are 'rear stay bushes'?

"I had a similer noise on my mtb, it turned out to be one of the rear stay bushes had dried out, it always sounded like the chain, took me ages to find it".
