Went to work on my bike today, not worried about possible rain as have just recoated my cycling jacket with waterproofer. It rained on the way home..which is only 3 miles and apart from a couple of small areas I was wet through

You might get a couple of ideas from mickle's 'tip of the week' thread which this week thrillingly covered the topic of waterproof jackets.

i got a BTwin 9.99 job from decathlon a little while back, its damned waterproof!, vented well to boot. only issues i've had with it is the cloth cuffs being quite wet, the rest sheds fine.
