Has anyone noticed that despite being a pain just above the saddle this weather has been making things look bleakly beautiful?
On Friday we drove up the A303 towards London, and he countryside looked just like a film set for Narnia with the remains of snow and the white frost forming on the trees and bushes from the freezing fog. Today around here it's been the same with the skeletons of the trees slowly turning white, and fences, railings, overhead wires and plenty more doing the same.
I can't say I like having freezing fog at -6 degrees but it's rare to see these effects in the south of England.
