Changed my diet for the good i beleive cut out take aways and crappy food also cut down the beer eat lots more fruit and veg and my main meal portions are smaller.

These scales are at best a very rough guess. Ducky is onto a good point there, the chances of losing lean mass are high,particularly if your calorie deficit is big and you don't load the muscle.
If you aren't developing significant loose skin and your cycling/sport isn't particularly effected carry on. But do it sensibly, within a sustainable deficit (none of this 1500 cals a day nonsense) TDEE / harris benedict formulae are just a google away.
At the end of the day, a full length mirror is always a direct reflection of you, zero guesswork
