I suppose you have either lost a bunch of lean mass (muscle) or whatever you are using to measure body fat% might not be calibrated correctly? Have you drastically changed your dietary intake?

Sounds to me like you're doing the right things. Not sure how accurate these bathroom scales that claim to gather fat% actually are. Use a measuring tape or the fit of your clothes as a guide. If you feel good then I would personally just carry on doing what you're doing. If you are in large calorie defecit then you are going to lose some lean mass along with fat, imho.

These scales are at best a very rough guess. Ducky is onto a good point there, the chances of losing lean mass are high, particularly if your calorie deficit is big and you don't load the muscle.

If you aren't developing significant loose skin and your cycling/sport isn't particularly effected carry on. But do it sensibly, within a sustainable deficit (none of this 1500 cals a day nonsense) TDEE / harris benedict formulae are just a google away.

At the end of the day, a full length mirror is always a direct reflection of you, zero guesswork

How can you judge body fat from bathroom scales?
