My wheels have a sticker saying something along the lines on 'Mach 1 by Rodi'
I am trying to figure out how worn they are but i can't see any type of wear indicator (which means I have to assume by the type of wear indicators I have heard about that this means they are worn to the limit).
I cannot find anything to tell me what type of wear indicators these wheels have, although there is not a pronounced step where the brake pad touches and where it doesn't which leads me to assume that there is not much wear so quite contradictory.

if any one can give me any pointers i'd appreciate it.

If the braking surfaces are dished and gouged, the wheels are worn. I don't know the wall thickness of your rims but I reckon about 1.5mm of wear would be the limit. Lay a straight edge across the braking surface to gauge the depth of the dish.
