Waterproofs

Hi, Can anyone recommend a pair of reasonable quality waterproof over trousers? Most of the time they would be in the pannier so don't really want to spend the earth. Thank you.

My local aldi still has a few pairs of their winter cycling trousers which are warm and water resistant for a tenner. I bought some not expecting great things but am more than happy with them.

You might also consider some overshoes, seen these going for 12 quid after searching around
