I decided to weather proof the DVR D011 a bit, nothing fancy just used electrical tape to where water could get into.

I covered the hole at the back of it, why is that hole there?, it doesnt do anything(maybe from the torch the case was designed for?).

Then just put some round the front that unscrews to get to the glass lense.

Has anyone here weather proofed theres?, looking for anything else I can do, i'm not looking into making it 100% waterproof, just a bit of protection for a potential unexpected downpoor.

Thanks.

I don't know if it would work, but items like that which I want to waterproof, but not want it permanent as I need acess to change batteries etc, I wrap clingfilm around them. Just one wrap and secure underneath and it is still flexible enough to push buttons and cheap.
