waterproof overshoes question, fairly urgent

found a pair on cyclexpress website - not like the usual bike shoe covers, these are actually waterproof and can go on ordinary shoes. just what i wanted. however, they come in LARGE and X-LARGE - no guide as to shoe size (i phoned them)...

i'm size 10 shoes, can anyone say which size they think would be right ? need them for saturday and cant afford to order both then return one this month

Have they not got someone there who could try a pair on for you?

Why don't you try phoning them up and asking them if they will consider sending you both pairs on the understanding and promise that you will send the pair that doesn't fit back?

I would say large, I am a size 11 and the size chart on Chainreaction said large, the overshoes fit perfectly.
