Washing a camelbak

Has anyone ever stuck a camelbak in the washing machine ? I thought maybe shove it in a mesh bag and wash it so the straps don't get caught up? Any one done this... is it ok to wash like that? Shrinkage etc? Ta

The backpack or the hydration bladder?

Backpack is good for the washing machine.
The bladder clean out with denture tablets or baby bottle cleaning tablets.

Use soapflakes, Dreft. Less likely to cause any problems with any waterproofing that may be there.

I put mine in the washing machine with no problems, never did anything with the straps just bunged it in, I do the same with muddy sweaty trainers.
