So today I took in the three main hills of the ride I did it last year and I'm doing it this year also.
Last year the roads between newlands corner and box hill were not great and box hill was exceptionally good. However this year the roads are much worse especially around leith hill, there are some serious potholes on the way up and down along with just generally bad roads along the route. Everyone that is doing this ride please be cautious on this section People got hurt last year but this year it seems the roads have suffered badly from all the rain
