Wow that was sooo scary and exhilarating ! It's 27 years since I've rode a bike. Got a pashley yesterday and had my first run out this morning. I only did about a mile and a half, chickened out of going on the busy roads in town lol. Legs feel like jelly and my heart is bouncing out my chest but man what a rush.
I feel like a kid again !

This too will pass quickly enough if you ignore it.

Well done for getting back into cycling, glad you enjoyed your first spin so much!

Well done you! Probably a good idea to do it on a "little and often" basis at first until it all gels. Upwards and onwards!

Little and often is defo what I'll be doing. I'm really out of shape. Lol I can't believe how much I enjoyed it.

Well done. You made a good choice of bike there too. I love riding my Pashley whether it's commuting in to work or going on longer jaunts at the weekend.

Excellent, keep at it, you have found something you really enjoy which is more than half the battle for training.

your jelly legs will soon be a passing phase!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thst's not what it feels like to me right now sitting here......but then again I did 78 miles today! When I first collected my bike I did a couple of miles and almost died - you'll be flying along doing decent mileage in no time.

Keep at it, you will love it.

I would love to have a Pashley, but it's not really suitable for a 9 mile hilly commute. I'll probably get one when I move out of London, as a cruising around the village bike.
