Is anyone else massively excited about this stage/climb on Saturday? I can't wait to see Mosquera battle it out with Nibali for the red jersey. Also, perhaps Schleck can take advantage of the fact that Nibali will be heavily watching Mosquera and take back a huge chunk of time.

I would love to see Mosquera win this Vuelta, after three top 5 finishes. My gf is from Galicia and it'd be great to see a Galician win the overall, plus I think he deserves it for his aggressiveness on the mountain stages so far and a cracking time trial.

Looking at the climb itself too, it looks like a beast. The roads are rough concrete and narrow , they remind me of Plan de Corones. I think this could be a really great stage. We've been spoilt this year with 3 great grand tours in my opinion.

I agree about the high quality of racing in the three GTs - it's been a vintage year.

Thanks for the link for the photos. Good Christ, that looks like a killer. Hope Cavendish can make it through in the time delay. And looking at that, I now think Mosquera has a real chance to make a difference and win the overall. Should be a great stage.

It really should be a classic. The difference could be whether Roman Kreuziger can drag Nibali up that climb still in touch. If Nibali does win the overall Kreuziger deserves it as much as he does for the work he's put in on the climbs so far.

I can't believe Kreuzigerwill be much help up those last ramps. I think Nibs will have to go it alone if he wants to hang on to red.

That was a good finish to todays stage, that the first time that mountain (Bola Del Mundo) has been included but I don't think it'll be the last. I had to laugh at the commentators it was easy for the first 10km! I don't think 7-8% for 10km is easy, especially after 150km ! I suppose compared to 20% after 170km
