Hi all
I'm looking to sell on my Giant TCR and keep my roubaix as my 'good bike' so looking for something suitable now we are heading into the worse weather period.
My original plan was to build a gravel bike up but I've decided my mechanical skills and spare time don't allow that, so looking to buy one already built up.
I've nearly settled on a Vitus Substance CR1 and wondered if anyone has any experience of said bike?

The spec looks decent for the money, and as it will be my winter mount I'm looking for something with mud guard mounts that allows a comfortable long distance ride with some off roading on gravel and some birdleways/tracks.
The only thing that puts me off is the 47mm tyres as I reckon I'll be 60/40 in favour of roads. I'm not interested in flying about everywhere so not sure this will actually be an issue.
Any info on the vitus or any other suggestions welcomed (budget is about £1500 - £1600
