Vitus Dural Arrival

Just back from picking up this Vitus , not sure which model as the decal is faded but I think I can make out dural .

Fitted with sprint and tubs at mo , ultrega 2 X 9 gearing and some not Gali calipers.

Not sure what the Mitchell is about . So reaching out to @woodbutcher to fill in the gaps please

Another nice one Mr B. it is definitely a 2nd generation 979 from the 1980's ( recessed grub screw rather than earlier pinch bolt which had a nasty habit of cracking the ally casting). Mitchell rings no bells , maybe just a previous owner , is it a decal or sprayed on lettering ?

Just noticed lettering on the chain stay ...what does that say ?

Mitchell and they are panels so would come off hopefully even got an M in the headbadge position

And another thing ....this really bugs me , someone has fitted curved base cable stops for a steel frame which dont fit properly on the flat through tube alloy unit . What it needs are these Shimano DURA-ACE SM-ST74 Down Tube Barrel Adjuster Shifter Bosses (Flat Bottom). Oh l am a grumpy whotsit today

Yes same on chain stays , when you google Mitchell Vitus it shows a blue Vitus with Mitchell Cycles on ??
