Vitus 992

I just recently acquired this Vitus 992. These were made in France in the early 90s and have some interesting features. I finished refurbishment on it.

Polished all the aluminum. New seatpost, threadless stem, handle riser stem and rear derailleur.

That's very racy geometry but you've got a 'sit up and beg' position.

I still get a semi upright riding position on it, takes some pressure off my wrists. The frame is glued and screwed.

Don't remind me Mr. B , of all the Vitus bikes l have owned , the 992 was by far and away the best ,both aesthetically and the quality of the ride. I jumped camp from Vitus to Look , no room for everything so the decision was made.
This was mine and it went to an extraordinarily good home .....l won't say where !
