Just wondered what the difference was? Is it just that one has a slight thread pattern to it and the other one is completely slick?
Just wore out my stock tyres after 1600 miles on my Giant Rapid, so this tyres world is new and confusing,

That's pretty much it though the slicks have a max pressure of 120 and the rubino pros 145. The rubino pros have a higher TPI too. I've got a pair of both but I just put the Pros on the road bike for that little bit of extra grip in winter.
The slicks aren't Pro's- it appears there's 4 varieties, Rubino/ Rubino Slick/ Rubino Pro/ Rubino Pro Slick.
Can't afford to stretch to the PRO's- the basic Rubino slicks are £10 each on planet-x.

Ah, there are more of them! The basics are pretty smooth, probably just a little less puncture protection than the Pros. £10 sounds a very good price for what they are though.
crikey there's actually 5- the Rubino Pro Technical, it's their foul weather one.
The Vittoria website recommend smooth clean surface for the slick ones- maybe I'll find the extra £1 each and get some topcashback from wiggle for the normal ones.
