Vision freehub problem

Hi all … first post on here, trying to swap freehubs on a Vision wheel.
Got the hub off, but the axle came with it and I can’t see how to remove it.
Does anyone know?, TIA.

Thanks big john for your response.. I have removed the freehub body from the wheel hub by unscrewing the cap on the non drive side… but the axle remains in the freehub.
I will post a pic when I get home.

How to remove the axle from the freehub?
I can’t see a hexagon or circlip ATM.

Hi thanks… I mean I’ve got the freehub plus axle off the wheel, but need to remove the axle, I cannot see any 12 mm hex .

I would have thought that once you take the end cap off, the axle is pressfitted into the bearings inside so you just tap it out. Just a guess.

Yeah… me too but its solid ! And I have since heard that some come with the axle fitted… don’t want to force it , not sure about this, 🤔 was hoping someone had experience with vision wheels/ hubs.

The flats on that cone nut are nearly recessed & I didn’t spot it!
