Itching to get back on my bike's
Location

Just back from picking this Viscount Supersport up .
Plan is to get it rideable.
First job will be to swap the chrome 27" wheels for some alloy rimmed ones I have laying in the garage.
Unfortunately it's not one of the lightest bikes I have ever ridden but it will be loosing a bit of weight.

A quick re inflation of the tyres found out the rear is 27" and the front is a 700c .
A few laps of the cul de sac found non drive side crank arm loose so removed arm and found....

A slightly worn taper and a bit of wear on the spindle as well....

Good job I have this Dawes crankset and bottom bracket in the garage. Just needs a clean up and then fitting .

Thankfully the original bottom bracket cups unscrewed easily.

Had an hour in the garage this morning replaced the brake cables , replaced the broken spoke and nipple on the rear wheel stripped old padding and tape of the bars .
Unfortunately it's too small for me so will get it on marketplace and see what happens.
