Viscount Grand Sport - can anyone help?

I have a bike that I am wanting to sell but I am not sure of its value, if anyone could advise me on whether it has any worth I'd be really grateful.
I know nothing at all about cycling, but I advertised it as free on Gumtree and within minutes I was inundated with messages from people who will clearly just sell it on for profit, so I'd much rather sell it (even if only for a small amount) and give the money to charity - so sick of Gumtree and Freecycle scammers! I was trying to do a nice thing!

It is a Viscount Grand Sport ladies bike, apart from a flat tyre it seems to work ok.

If anyone could give me any advice I would really appreciate it. Thank you!

@poppet120 nice gesture without pics i would suggest £30 - 40 easily and maybe a fair bit more depending on spec would make a good donor bike if spec right

These a hugely under-rated bike IMO. It's probably not worth a great deal as people are scared of them due to possible fork issues and an unusual bottom bracket (which is actually a piece of cake to rebuild).

It looks like a nice bike in pretty good condition. I think they were called Viscount Aerospace but I am not too sure.
I would try setting the price higher , they can always try to knock you down.

@poppet120 silly question seeing as that looks great why don't you just ride it and keep It ?
