The saving time but is rubbish, I live 5 miles from work, I could drive it in 30 minutes during rush hour, my commute on the bike took 2hrs 40 minutes this morning

My Ridgeback mtb cost £200 about 4 1/2 years ago, and it's no BSO. Yes it was reduced, and it cost a little to add suitable tyres and a rack for utility or commuting use, but for a useable and durable bike the figure given as the average is sensible.

I like the infographic - loads of sense there on a well set out graphic.
