Hi I have just bought a second hand BSA racer with a serial number on it. Is there anyway I can find out the history/date it would have been made?

Any help or advice would be much appreciated!

You haven't given us much to go on but as midlife said it would help if we could see some pictures.
You could try googling BSA racing cycles and see if there are any which look similar.
I have 2 BSA's , a 1966 Sportsman and a 1978 BSA Tour de France.

Hi @Ricky1967 we always like to see pictures. Lots of components have date codes on them too
