Hi , I have just been clearing out garage and have found my Holdswoth bike( not in good condition) it has Holdswoth prancing horse badge, Reynolds 531 butted tubes forks and stays transfer campagnolo 5 speed gears and the number on the frame is 30128. Can anyone advise if it is worth restoration, or how much it might be worth without restoring?

Welcome Brysta.
Without seeing it I would say yes. The frame is a quality one, and with the Campag. running gear it is a good bike.
When you say not in good condition, how do you mean?
Is it a case of a really good clean up, or are the frame and components badly rusted.
A lot of the time what seems in bad condition just needs a lot of TLC.
How old do you think the bike is?
Some pictures would be really handy.

I'm interested in seeing it too.

If Midlife is right about the year, it's just a smidge older than me. That is the Holdsworthy era, where Claud Butler and Holdsworth frames were made alongside one another and were very similar. Not quite as sought after as the earlier bikes, but if anything even nicer to ride.

Interesting thread. I was thinking it would be about another English Holdsworth whom I hold in extremely high esteem.
