Veloce groupset

How were the 1st impressions?

I've noticed that the 2009 model has the Veloce groupset (with the redesigned ergo levers)

Yet this groupset is a spec down on the 2008 Centaur (levers, front& rear mechs) and Miche chainset.

Unless I've got it all wrong, in which case I'll be getting my coat.

Think there was something in this month's C+ about a Viner? Near the back in the ask the expert's bit. I would dig it out but I can't find the mag anywhere.
