I am struggling to decide between these two bikes. I am a Deliveroo cyclist and cycle on mostly tarmac with some cobbled roads/going up curbs etc so I believe the front suspension on the Bayswater is unnecessary. My main concern is whether the Bayswater will be much better in terms of reliability/durability/quality of parts. I will be cycling about 20 miles a day and need a reliable and fast bike.

Wondering if someone could clarify which bike would be better?

Does it have to be viking? I don't really know the brand, but I have seen some pretty sh*tty viking bikes. Deliveroo riders work hard and obviously need a reliable ride. I am not sure that a viking would give you that.

Of the two, the Portobello because it doesn't have suspension. You are right, it's unneeded, adds weight and is one more place things can go wrong.

If I was looking for a super cheap bike I'd go decathlon, or 2nd hand.
