Can be done...

Wear one of the thin skullcap-type ones under the helmet and place a waterproof helmet cover over the lid

You may end up with a boiled brain though

I use a thin skullcap all the time as it absorbs the sweat (under the lid). In winter I use the windproof ones, that pull down just enough to protect the old ears on icy cold mornings.

I did not know you could get that sort of thing (newbie) so I put a hankie on my head and filled the gap in my hat up with bits of foam.

I did go for a ride with someone who had an over cover but is seemed to flap about alot.

I use a thin fleece sweatband, which covers my lugs and I take the foam pads out of my helmet (which is too old to have the dial-a-size thingy)
