Blowing it up outside the tyre? Seriously though, is it leaking? Must be a manufacturing fault.
Nah it's gone back down again overnight very odd better get a new tube
Yes indeed! I have noticed that some latex tubes do appear to have varying thickness, and a tendency to do as the OP's if you put too much air into them outside the tyre. Have also had faulty valves which were fine until the area around the junction between the valve and the tube was stressed by the valve being pushed through the rim, causing mystery loss of air.If your going to patch a tube you need to pump it up outside the tyre to find the hole?
