Late last week i took a phone call from our Surgery.We have booked you an 8-30 appointment to see the Doctor on Tuesday.She would like to talk to you.

Ok no problems i will be there.

Today at 16-20 the Hospital rang,would i accept an appointment to see the Consultant on Friday at 9-40.

Again i said yes.But what about the blood test i am supposed to have one week before seeing the Consultant.As stated in the letter i was given when i left after the Cystoscopy.
Oh right someone will ring you tomorrow.

I am intrigued at all the goings on.

The mother in law had all sorts of appointments booked in like this without her GP evening giving a hint to what the problem could, she even had people calling up to book surgery before she had even seen the consultant or had the MRI. It totally freaked us all out, but in the end did not turn out to be as serious as we thought.

I am well impressed with our new Doc.She knew i had an appointment coming.But did not know when.So i told her about the phone call.She was asking how i was getting on with the Tamsulosin,and told me to mention it on Friday,as it can mask a blood test result.I took it upon myself to go and have a walk in blood test this morning.Which was a good idea,because while i was out and about,the Hospital rang again,they were going to cancel the appointment,because i had not gone for the required blood test. ? but it was them that asked me to come in Friday.?.Anyway my wife told them i was onto it today.They were impressed and the appointment goes ahead.I would like to say i am really impressed with the new Doc.I have never had an appointment where they were catching up on progress.Excellent.So roll on Friday and lets stuff this Prostate problem.

I woulod also like to say,how impressed i am,the number of times i have used the word impressed in this impressive post.
